Cleaning your kitchen - 4 easy steps

1. Clear surfaces

• Put any items lying on tables or worktops away
• Dishes - wash, dry and put away

2. Rubbish

• Put all rubbish in the bin
• Remove all rubbish from your kitchen bin to external receptacles
• Wipe the bin down before fitting a new liner

3. Clean surfaces

• Wipe down all surfaces with a multi-purpose spray (warm soapy water will work too!)
• Clean around and inside your sink
• Wipe down shelves in fridge
• Remove any food build-up on/around hob

4. Clean your floor

• Sweep/vacuum your kitchen floor
• Use a mop and all-purpose cleaner (warm soapy water will work too!) to clean your kitchen floor

Your kitchen should be cleaned on a daily basis. Failure to maintain the condition of your kitchen may result in fines or disciplinary action. 

Cleaning your bathroom - 4 easy steps

1. Clean your sink & mirror

• Spray all-purpose cleaner on the sink and taps, and wipe with a clean cloth
• User warm water or glass cleaner to clean your mirror

2. Clean your shower

• Spray with all-purpose cleaner, allow time to work
• Wipe down the shower walls and floor
• Clear the drain of any half or build-up
• Rinse the area with warm water

3. Clean your toilet

• Place toilet cleaner around the inside of the toilet bowl, allow time to work
• Spray outside, seat and toilet rim with all-purpose cleaner and wipe with a cloth
• Scrub inside the toilet bowl with a toilet brush

4. Clean your floor

• Use a cloth or mop and all-purpose cleaner (or warm soapy water) to clean your shower room floor

Your shower room should be cleaned on a regular basis. Failure to maintain the condition of your shower room may result in fines or disciplinary action.

You will be provided with kitchen and bedroom cleaning products when you arrive so make sure to use them! Your kitchen will also be given an assisted cleaned regularly by the lovely cleaning team 🧼
