Welcome to HWUnion! We are the student-led organisation on campus who are not only the voice for students at university, but we are also here to help students in any way that we can, such as with a problem between you and your landlord.

We aim to make your university experience more than you course, offer a place for everyone to belong and actively listen and offer support when you need it!

Events are held within the union as well as our own outlets you can find on campus:

Liberty's

Welcome to our favourite brunch spot, Liberty's! Located in our Student Union building (behind Leonard Horner halls), there's a lot on offer here:

• A variety of drinks, including coffee and soft drinks
• Hot and cold food served from our kitchen, sausage rolls, soup and cakes (vegan and vegetarian options available)
• Comfortable seating - perfect for studying or a casual catch-up
• A delicious range of toasties and ciabattas

Geordies

Looking for somewhere to have a cold pint? Then look no further! Geordies is our on-campus bar located within our Student Union building, and it's got EVERYTHING!

• A variety of drinks, including beer, cider, wine, cocktails, spirits and non-alcoholic options
• Hot food served from our kitchen, including our classic Big Guy Burgers and fries!
• Many pool tables to enjoy with friends
• A new computer game station

The Student Shop

Forgot to get some rice for your dinner? Or maybe you need a new notebook? Our on-campus shop has you covered with all the essentials! We aim to be student-friendly, so we typically have offers on and keep our prices cheap to help with the cost of student life:

• Two Costa Express machines so you can customise your own coffees and easily pay at the machine
• A fantastic meal deal selection where you can get a drink, sandwich and crisps for £3.99
• All-inclusive dietary ranges for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free students
