It's Pride Month! Who's ready to celebrate? Here's a quick guide on what and where you can join in:
Edinburgh
Pride Edinburgh will take place on Saturday 20th June 2026, marking Scotland's longest-running and largest free LGBTQ+ celebration. The day is filled with a vibrant march, live concerts and community fairs.
The parade 🌈
Join the parade as it departs from the Scottish Parliament (near the bottom of the Royal Mile) at 1pm - gathering at 12:15pm. The route will weave through the city centre, finishing at Bristo Square.
The Festival Village 🎊
Running from 2pm to 6pm, Edinburgh drag queen NBlaze will take to the stage to host an exciting concert with headliner Cher Lloyd.
Scottish Borders
History is being made with the first-ever Scottish Borders Pride parade taking place in Galashiels on Saturday 29th August 2026. The event, organised by the newly formed charity Scottish Borders Pride 2026, is completely free to attend and requires no tickets.
The event 🌈
The day will kick off with a celebratory morning Pride breakfast before the main parade proceeds through the town. In the afternoon, the festivities will move to the Volunteer Hall for live music, entertainment, and a variety of community stalls. The celebrations will conclude with an official Pride after-party!
