We're on the lookout for new Digital Creators for the 25/26 academic year 📸

If you're creative and like producing video content, you could see your content published here on WattLiving and/or on our social channels! And to top it off, you will recieve e-vouchers for every video you deliver!

What do you need to do?

As a Digital Creator, we'll ask you to create content showing your life as a student to help other students. We'll ask you to create content – both video and written – for our platforms on specific topics, but we will work with you to find out your interests, what you love and what content you think will most benefit students living at Heriot Watt.

What are the benefits?

• Get rewarded for your content – as a thank you for your posts, you will receive a Love2Shop e-voucher ranging from £15 – £30 for video content and £5 – £10 for images and blogs. 
• Work with a professional communications agency to develop your skills in content creation and boost your CV! 
• Get recognised as a creator and share your story (this is a fun opportunity to talk about your experiences, interests and hobbies). 
• Be tagged in and share your content from our Instagram to boost your social media presence. 

When you become a part of the Digital Creator scheme, you will be expected to: 

• Send your assigned pieces of content by the deadlines set (when you have been assigned to a task, you will usually be given 1-2 weeks to complete your content). If you're unable to complete your content on time and don't inform us, you will not receive your e-voucher even if you do complete it at a later date. 
• Create high-quality content that is suitable to be posted on WattLiving and other social media platforms (YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels).
• Your content should be between 30 seconds and 90 seconds (we will specify the length on each piece of content) and filmed vertically. 

If you decide you no longer want to be a part of the programme, please inform us so we can make sure you are not being contacted or notified of any upcoming tasks or projects.
