Iftars on Campus

How we celebrated

What is Iftar?

Iftar is the meal eaten after sunset to break the fast. Traditionally, dates are the first thing on the plate, symbolising the Prophet Muhammad's practice of breaking his fast with them. From there, the feast begins.

Ramadan is all about reflection, spirituality, and sharing amazing food with friends and other students on campus. Iftars are a chance to connect, celebrate, and create memories.

How was it celebrated?

At the recent campus Iftar, the food did not disappoint. Plates were stacked with samosas, fragrant rice, and tender chicken and more delicious dishes. And for those with a sweet tooth, the homemade tiramisu was incredible, the perfect way to end the meal!

But it wasn’t just the food that made the night special. It was the vibe and the feeling of togetherness. Ramadan is about more than just fasting, it’s about community! This Iftar was the perfect reminder of that.
