❄️ Capture the Magic of Winter

Join us for a relaxed and creative Winter Photography Session.

Armed with just your mobile phone, explore how the winter season transforms the landscape — from frosted leaves and misty mornings to the quiet details that often go unnoticed.

During the session, we’ll share easy tips and tricks to help you see the world differently and take stunning abstract and scenic photos with your phone.

Then we’ll head out on a guided walk around the campus grounds, where you’ll have a chance to put your new skills into practice and capture your own interpretation of winter through your eyes.

After the walk, submit your favourite photo to bordershalls@hw.ac.uk for a chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher! We’re looking for creativity, atmosphere, and how well you’ve captured the spirit of winter.

Deadline for entries: January 12th 2026  Winner announced at a special event in the new year! 

Winning entries will be displayed.
