Help Us Make a Difference!

Volunteer with Reslife & Chaplaincy, and help us make a difference! 🍽️

Every year, Reslife, the Chaplaincy team and student volunteers come together to collect leftover pots, pans, and food from our halls as students move out.

The Chaplaincy team will clean and store donated kitchenware, ready to be gifted to new students arriving in September.

Reslife will sort and donate all unopened, in-date food to our fantastic charity partners: The Community One Stop Shop / Broomhouse Food Bank and Wester Hailes Food Bank.

Last year, we collected and donated over 400kg of food — and this year, we’re aiming even higher!

We need volunteers on Saturday, 7 June (and possibly Sunday, 9 June too!) to help us collect and sort these items.

📍 Shifts available:

• 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Join us for one shift or both — every helping hand makes a difference.

Top tip: Wear comfy clothes and shoes — it’s active, hands-on work!

We’ll provide lunch and snacks to keep you fuelled and energised.
